Holy Baptism

Baptism is the sacrament of new life in Christ — a threefold immersion in water that joins the candidate to the death and resurrection of the Lord. At Holy Trinity, infants are typically baptized between three and twelve months of age, and adults at any time after a period of preparation.

Requirements and Preparation

At least one Orthodox sponsor (godparent) in good standing, who is not married outside the Church. A name chosen from a saint of the Church. Pre-baptismal meeting with the priest. The parish office can assist with paperwork and scheduling.
